Depends on what options your vehicle has - may have a daytime running lights module and a body control module, or just the body control module. You will need the service manual for repair information. Try Alldatadiy.com.

Doesn't have a headlamp control module . Has a headlamp relay , located in the instrument panel fuse box.
Headlamps
The headlamps may be turned on 2 different ways. First, when the driver places the headlamp switch in the ON position, for manual operation. Second, with the headlamp switch placed in the OFF position activating automatic lamp control (ALC).
The LH HDLP and RH HDLP fuse in the fuse block - underhood, supply battery positive voltage to both low and high beam lamps at all times. For manual operation, when the headlamp switch is in the ON position, the headlamp switch supplies ground directly to the headlamps and to the body control module (BCM) on the headlamp low or high beam signal circuit, depending on the position of the headlamp dimmer switch. The BCM uses this signal to determine if the conditions are present to illuminate the daytime running lamps or park lamps.
For ALC operation, the BCM receives a signal from the ambient light sensor indicating a low or high ambient, outside, light level. Under low light conditions the BCM grounds the headlamp relay control circuit energizing the headlamp control relay. The now closed relay supplies ground through the headlamp switch to the headlamps and the BCM on the headlamp low or high beam signal circuit, depending on the position of the headlamp dimmer switch. When the BCM grounds the headlamp relay control circuit it also grounds the park lamp relay control circuit illuminating the park lamps. The headlamp relay is grounded at G203.
If the engine stalls with the headlamps in the ALC mode under low light conditions, the headlamps will be controlled OFF during cranking.
The conditions necessary for the BCM to activate the ALC mode are as follows:
• The ignition switch is in the RUN position.
• The headlamps are in the OFF position.
• The park brake is released. If the park brake is applied after the ignition key is placed in the RUN position the ALC is not effected.

For cars with daytime running lights (e.g. all Canadian cars), there is a daytime running lights module as well as the BCM which can cause head/tail light problems - you should remember this.

  • Jeff Armer Apr 11, 2018

No there isn't , has a DRL relay controlled by the BCM an the ambient light sensor.

An what makes you think this persons vehicle is a Canadian vehicle ?

  • Jeff Armer Apr 11, 2018

I have factory service manual . Canadian vehicles are the same .

My apologies - I got my wires crossed and was thinking 1997 Blazer, not 2005 Equinox. Yes, just the three headlamp relays.

    That's ok , we all make mistakes . Even after 30 year's .

SOURCE: location for the head light control module

The LCM or lighting control module is located under the dash to the right of the steering wheel, first you need to remove the hush panel under the knee brace, then there are 2 screws the hold it to a bracket. Unplug the 4 connectors towards the back and then slide it out and replace.

Location of headlights fuse in 2003 dodge caravan sport

According to this there isn't one

https://fuse-box.info/dodge/dodge-caravan-2001-2007-fuses

And this confirms there isn't one. The are controlled by the Body Control Module.

https://www.chryslerminivan.net/threads/both-headlights-went-out-on-my-dodge-caravan-2005.82722/

No headlight relays or fuses on your model year. It is all controlled by microprocessors in the Body Control Module (BCM) and Front Control Module (FCM). You can try resetting them by removing the IOD memory fuse in the fuse box or the negative battery cable for 5 minutes. Have you tried cycling the headlight switch many times? Still out? There is an extended lifetime warranty on 2005/6 Dodge/Chrysler minivan headlight switches:
http://www.aboutautomobile.com/Investigation/2005/Dodge/Caravan/Headlight+Switch

It also mentions above there was a recall on the headlight switch

2005 Chevy equinox when releasing the emergency brake and the headlight switch is on auto the lights come on automatically except the tail lights.

You probably have daytime running lights - when you do this during daylight hours, only the front running lights will come on. If at night, regular headlights and tail lights will come on. If this is not the case, you will have a problem with the headlight control module.

Stop Lamps
The 15A BRAKE fuse located in the fuse block - underhood, supplies battery positive voltage to the normally open stop lamp switch. When the driver presses the brake pedal, the switch contacts close and battery positive voltage is supplied to both left and right stop lamp assemblies, the center high mounted stop lamp (CHMSL), the powertrain control module (PCM), and the throttle actuator control (TAC) module. The stop lamps are grounded at G401 and G403. The CHMSL is grounded at G301.

Chevy 2005 Equinox, day time running light when out, are they controlled by a fuse?

The Daytime running lights are controlled by a relay under the hood that says "DRL"

I would just pull the relay and not worry about it. daytime running lights are just an annoyance.
