Internal engine problems could just be valve seals leaking oil into the combustion chamber pull out the spark plugs and look at them if they are covered in oil and the firing pin and electrode are bridging together then it's your rings or head gasket and the truck is smoking a lot ///if you just see plugs that look tan/white ash build up its the seals and it smokes a little after idling and then you accelerate and it disappears and then starts again after idling you will see light blue colored smoke but not clouds of it just a slight haze in the exhaust

SOURCE: Oil leak

Hello Pierre,
A little more detail may help me on this one, however this sounds like possibly your power steering pipe? both these use auto trans fluid it is reddy brown in colour and viscosity (Thickness) watery.
If this is the pipe, check the fluid reservoir it should have either a Yellow top with power steering or a steering wheel diagram on it.
If full then please give me more information as to location on engine where pipe comes from and goes too as nowadays engine oil is usually internally dispersed. Only oil cooler pipes possibly? will go to a finned type radiator usually near the front grille of the vehicle.
I hope this points you in the right direction as I'm thinking of giving this help up as very hard to remain on top slot when loads of questions responded to and no replies.
Good Luck,
Paul 'W'

SOURCE: ford bantam rocam 1.6i speedo, temperature gauge and rev counter not working

Sometimes when the batery of vehicle goes flat or when u fit a new car batery to the bantams they love to give that problems like gauges not working rpm not working speedo not working and cluster display is dead, u disconect the batery termanils and for example fit positive termanil and arc. Or short til that blue spark occur then u swop around negative on and arc positive, leave the ignition switched on arc til gauges move!! Don't ask me why but that happend to me! A autoelek friend of mine showed me this! NB don't tri this with vehicles with a lot of elektric featers it can cause demage to ecu (engine control unit)

I HAVE A FORD BANTAM 2003 MODEL ROCAM ENGINE ITS LEAKING OIL AROUND THE GEAR BOX I CAN'T REALLY LOCATE WHERE IT IS LEAKING FROM AND IF ITS EITHER THE ENGINE OIL OR THE GEAR BOX OIL.

Gear oil is thicker and smells different than motor oil. If you have to continuously add motor oil to the engine, then it's likely the rear crankshaft seal is leaking. Check the rocker covers too.

How do I fix the clutch slave cylinder on a Ford Bantam 1.3 2007?

Hi your ford Bantam clutch slave cylinder fix will require the removal of the transmission , this is a concentric unit incorporated in the release bearing assembly and can only be replaced as a complete unit . if you only have a fluid leak at the connection entering the gearbox you might get a kit at your local dealership, this is for the Rocam Motor driven Bantam

Any multipurpose engine oil should do. Just be careful with synthetic oil.
