LG Dryer - Check Filter Blinking Light is on and the filter is clean but my dryer won't come on?

The check filter light is just a reminder. Goes off once dryer starts. Dryer not working has nothing to do with that reminder. Check to see if belt is broken. When it breaks, it stops motor from working. Just take top off and tug on belt.

Check filter light blinking will not start only beeps what to do please help

Probably a lint buildup on the sensor. Need to clean the entire lint system. Should be able to remove the plastic frill if the lint filter is inside the drum. Remove the two screws and clean out all the lint then pull the dryer out remove the vent hose. Run a vacuum hose or reach up i to there and pull out the li t. Then clean out the vent hise...a broom handle works if it's a straight shot.

Check filter blinking on LG dryer and dryer won't start

There is a sensor at the bottom of the filter slot and it could be bad or plugged with lint. The whole service manual is here: http://www.manualslib.com/manual/974184/Lg-Dlex5101w.html?page=45#manual

It is going to show you the page with that sensor, but you can look at all the pages, I suggest page 23 for diagnostic tests.

The clean filter light was flashing but it stopped after I cleaned the vent but still won't heat, Is there another vent/filter in this dryer?

the blinking filter light is just a reminder, not connected to anything. goes out when you start cycle. however, if the dryer overheated then it may have blown the thermistor fuse. check out appliancepartspros.com or repairclinic.com for how to videos and parts.

our dryer has some internal ductwork. If it gets clogged, your dryer can't dry properly. In most dryers, to get to the internal ductwork to clear the clog, you have to substantially disassemble the dryer. A quick way to check for internal clogs is to remove the lint filter and use a flashlight to inspect the inside of the duct. If it looks clogged and you can't clear it using your vacuum.

Dryer check filter light keeps blinking and dryer will not start cleaned lint filter and nothing happened display on control board blinks when dryer is turned on and that's about it can you assist dyer...

I had the same problem, Check Filter light blinking and beeping, could not select drying type or start dryer. Short story, turned out to be the Less time button was stuck pushed in. Long story, a week before I had replaced the drum rollers and belt, everything was working fine for the week after then this problem. Totally by accident, after trying all the recommended actions (unplugging, pushing buttons, etc.) leaning on the right front corner would stop the beeping and allow the machine to work. Pushing all the buttons, I found the Less time button would not click. Apparently, when I took the control panel off to change the rollers and belt I flexed the control panel enough to misaligne the button and switch. Pulling the back of the control panel loose and making sure the push button and switch were aligned and working correctly everything works fine now.

My dryer starts and runs but puts out little heat. To dry a load of towels I must run 3 or 4 cycles

Vent Frequently there's an obstruction in the vent duct from the dryer to the outside of the house. For the dryer to heat properly, the duct must be clean and clear of lint or any other substance. Lg dle3777w dryer filter light remains on and dryer is not working even after cleaning the filter.

I'm sure you solved the problem but as i had the same problem on my electric LG front loader and saw no response i figured I would leave one for anybody else in the future. My girlfriend told me the dryer would not start and as i looke i saw the panel would not power up, I unplugged the power cord for 5 minutes and the LG reset and the panel was on and reading clean filter after checking the filter which appeared clean I tried to restart the dryer at which time it powered off. I again unplugged the dryer and replugged it and again the display read clean filter. I then gtabbed a phillips #2 and unscrewed the filter lint sceen which had a total of 4 scews in the interior of the dryer holding the filter housing unit. Youll see a piece of the housing unit remains screwed into the washer hooked up to two electrical plugs. Seperate both plugs from the unit and unscrew it and remove the unit youll notice two silver strips on the unit and I'm guessing will be covered with a small amount of lint. Clean the unit with a brush and damp cloth inside and out reattach the unit screw first and housing unit and turn on. If the dryer again turns off unplug and youll see the clean filter light. Simply push the custom program light or anything similar and the panel should start working again. I hope this helps someone.
