I just bought a new remote and cannot find the user guide for the TV. Do you need to program the remote for it to work?

1. turn on device 2. press setup (underneath on/off) till red light stays on the take finger off the button 3. press and quickly release device button (tv,vcr,etc.) the red indicator blinds off once 4. press the on/off button (up to 300 times) until the device is to be controlled turns off the red light blinks off with each button press 5. press and release enter to install code

Unfortunately, Trisonic dont publish their codes on the web. Call Trisonic toll free at 1-800-TRISONIC. I am sure the operate on a Mon-Fri basis probably 9am-5pm. It is the only way to get your codes.They are very helpful.
When you get your code you will need to push and hold the SET button first, then push your device button (TV, DVD, etc)as you continue to hold the SET button. I red light will appear on the front of your remote and it will remain on until your enter your device code. Enter your code and hit the power button to test your device.
This is the best and only way to get your Universal remote code. It saves you from having to buy another remote or spend any other money.
